Then I'll know

I have been thinking a lot about it lately...what it's like...what you do when you get there.

Who's gonna be there? Will we recognize one another?

Is it going to be a party? Or will we be sad that others aren't there with us?

Will there be new colors? New shapes? New sizes?

Will we know all when we get there? Or will we have to learn as we go?

Will we ever figure it all out? Or will we be forever seeking knowledge?

Will we eat when we are there?

Will we be able to hear from those who aren't there?

Will we know everyone there?

My brain is trying to picture things I can barely wrap my mind around.

All I know is...I am going...one of these days and my heart will be content because then I'll know.

Pretending It's the Weekend...

If only it was the weekend...Chris and I would be making banana pancakes. Possibly gearing up for a bike ride on our tandem. Escaping from the reality that we have jobs and responsiblities.

But, today is Thursday, and the possiblity of playing hooky is slim to none.

So...I thought writing my life away would be good substitute...at least for the weekdays.

So...here it goes...
